Who needs an expense account? Jobs at some tech companies come with kegs and PLENTY of beer.
San Francisco-based Hipster, a location-based startup that’s still in stealth mode, has used the promise of free beer to attract talent through the front door. Upon joining the company, employees are given a year’s supply, worth around $10,000, of Pabst Blue Ribbon, often considered the hipster beer of choice. (Scopely, yet another stealth startup, similarly offers a free year of beer, Dos Equis, to new employees.)
