The number of U.S. job openings in June climbed to 3.8 million, a level not seen since the summer of 2008. But many available jobs are going unfilled.  Although almost 13 million people remain on unemployment rolls, U.S. companies and organizations have 3.8 million positions to fill, up from 3.2 million a year ago. For each open job in the country, there are only 3.4 job seekers. “We’re in the healing process,” said Wells Fargo economist Sam Bullard. “But it’s going to take some time.”
