Arturo Martinez is a fighter, and not just because he owns a boxing club in Las Vegas. His miracle recovery after a horrific crime — the murder of his wife and daughter — is an inspiring story that you really need to hear. 

“It is very difficult. Very, very difficult,” he said. “It helps because if it wasn’t for them, I could be crying all day long.”

His eyes hidden behind sunglasses, Martinez conveys these emotions in the halting, unsure words of a man who has had to learn everything over again. How to live, even how to talk. Given that it hasn’t even been 90 days since the attack, the fact he’s even here, ready to move forward with his life and his work, is astonishing, his brother-in-law Ken Seal said. “For what he’s been through, it’s amazing.”
