Meet Avidekel, a new strain of marijuana that will disappoint stoners everywhere. Developed and grown in Israel, Avidekel contains almost no THC, the primary psychoactive compound in pot — in other words, the part that gets you high. What Avidekel does have is a bunch of CBD, another compound that has shown to be an anti-inflammatory for joints and muscles but with almost no effect on the brain. “It’s good for easing your muscles and your stomach,” said Tyler McClain, who sells medical marijuana at The Farmacy, a legal dispensary in Venice Beach, Calif.
