New York City’s most expensive co-op cost its new owners $52.5 million. That’s $1.75 million a room. But look at those rooms!
Billionaire investor Howard Marks and wife Nancy set a real estate record with their purchase of the 30-room classic limestone duplex on Park Avenue, shattering the $48.4 million paid for a 17-room co-op on Fifth Avenue in 2008.
The palatial spread has eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, two libraries, two dining rooms — formal and informal — and six terraces with views of Central Park.
